Dan Shafer ('91)
- Pastor of All Nations Baptist
Church in Woodhaven, NY
 “Faithful
is he that calleth you, who also will do it” (1 Thessalonians
5:24). I can still remember this wise counsel I received while I was a
student at TCA. As I reflect on the past twenty-three years since I
graduated from high school (TCA class of ’91), I can state
emphatically that this Biblical promise has helped me more times than
I can count. Indeed, God has guided, clarified, provided, and
strengthened me in so many numerous ways in my life and ministry. As I
am typing this article from my home in NYC, I am amazed again of God’s
faithfulness in my life! Below is a testament to the FAITHFULNESS of

Alumnus Award
The Distinguished Alumnus Award is intended to
honor the achievement and service of alumni of Trinity Christian
Academy.
Qualifications

One who is a graduate of at
least 10 years

One who has shown a continued
interest in Trinity Christian Academy

One who possesses a reputation
for godly character and embodies the values of Trinity Christian
Academy

One who has achieved a high
level of success in his/her profession

One who has made a significant
contribution to his/her community

One who is a faithful member of
his/her local church

receive the award at graduation.

The Danny Andrews
Memorial Golf Tournament
- Friday, April 25 @ 8 AM
 Danny Andrews was passionate about many things in
life, but God, family, and football were at the very top of his list.
Danny was an offensive line coach for the Trinity Conquerors for over
16 years, and helped coach the Conquerors to three state
championships, bringing home two trophies. He also served as a booster
club president.
Danny loved kids, so, in his memory, his wife
created the Danny Andrews Fund to help the growth of Trinity Christian
Academy athletics. The Danny Andrews fund will aid in the training of
student athletes in reaching their greatest potential on and off the
field.
Please help us in our endeavors by playing in the
tournament and/or participating as a sponsor.

Mark your calendars! TCA football
homecoming is November 7. We will be having an alumni dinner before
the game. We had a great response in 2013, and we want to make it
bigger and better this year. We will be recruiting volunteers to help
run the event. More details will be announced in the following months.
